This second series of Custom Cartwrights will feature moments shared by the Cartwright brothers, some of which are shown in various episodes and others which are imagined.  All are based on the TV show and the Cartwright brother's well-known hi-jinks.  Each piece will be unique and one of a kind, though more than one piece may be based on the same idea.  

 

'Who's Cheatin'?' is the first in this series.  One of Hoss and Little Joe's Cartwright's favorite pastimes was a fierce and competitive game of checkers.  On occasion questions were raised about the...integrity of the participants.  In the end no one ever knew just 'who' was cheating.

This piece features two American Character action figures painted to represent the Cartwright brothers, Hoss and Little Joe, during the first season of the show.  Both figures are hand painted and have custom hair.  Hoss' blondish-red hair comes from an antique doll and Little Joe's is made of acrylic curls.  Little Joe has hand painted features and wears a leather string tie.  The brothers are sitting on a hand painted ottoman and trunk.  Their table is wood with a metal checker board with paper checkers.  A small wooden bowl with extra checkers and a pair of pewter mugs finish off the piece.
