This customized Little Joe Cartwright figure comes with his horse Cochise and features Joe in one of his favorite pastimes - giving Cochise a sip of his coffee!  Both are customized American Character pieces with the original action figure and horse as well as their accessories having been produced in the 1960s.   

Little Joe and Cochise have been hand painted to represent the characters as they were in season one of the show. Cochise's markings are based on several first season episodes. The slightly higher opening bid on this piece is due to the time it took to paint Cochise's unique markings.

 

Little Joe wears his first season near white shirt with a light faux leather vest, dark brown pants and black boots.  He is wearing a brown faux leather gun belt with pistol and has his black hat with silver studs (painted).  Cochise comes equipped with a hand painted saddle and bridle with leather reins and cinch, as well as a pair of hand painted saddle bags, a rifle and holster.  Mohair has been added by hand to the original action figure for a more realistic look.  Both Little Joe and Cochise are mounted permanently on an oak stained base with faux grass, fence, barrel, and oat bucket. 

 

Little Joe's hand painted pistol, rifle, hat, and lantern accessories are removable.

This piece is unique.  No other will be produced that looks exactly the same.  Similar items may appear but colors, accessories and so on will vary for each piece, making any Custom Cartwright one of a kind.
